The United States House of Representatives, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reached a decision on visiting and inspecting authorized aircraft maintenance services companies outside the U.S.A. Visits are held in order to observe all the process on site. According to that FAA delegation observe topics like how aircraft maintenance companies are given authorization, whether FAA has capability to control authorized maintenance suppliers, what procedures maintenance companies follow and how they affect American aircraft maintenance sector. The delegation also inspect working conditions on site.
In parallel with that Turkey is also included in FAA delegation’s visiting plan and MNG TECHNIC which is one of two FAA authorized companies in Turkey has been chosen for the visit. According to that MNG TECHNIC hosted FAA delegation of 26 on Wednesday August 22nd, 2007. Jerry F. Costello, Chairman of The United States House of Representatives, Aviation Subcommittee leaded the delegation in this visit which 13 members of congress, 6 bureaucrats and other top managers also joined. Other names including FAA’s Africa, Europe, Middle East Office Director Tony Fazio, FAA Frankfurt Office Manager Terry Graham were present in meetings with MNG TECHNIC. During the visit MNG TECHNIC Deputy General Manager Fikret Geckili and Technical Manager Can Sasmaz presented MNG TECHNIC. The guests were also shown around MNG TECHNIC headquarter. Having an opportunity to see MNG TECHNIC’s professional services on site, delegation left Turkey with very positive thoughts about MNG TECHNIC.
